That being said, the Flex is equipped with LG’s best TV features, which include a super bright OLED Evo panel boasting 4K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, wide color gamut, ALLM, VRR, compatibility for AMD FreeSync, and Nvidia G-Sync. The motors that enable the Flex-curve on demand are housed in a sturdy pedestal. Because it’s made specifically for your workstation, it also has some small height and tilt adjustments. Though it is obviously not VESA-mountable, the stand thankfully takes up little desk space and features some RGB lights that get fairly bright.
Remember that if you want to avoid getting a headache during gaming, you will need to take a seat back at 42 inches. Something about the near proximity and quick movements. However, as I previously mentioned, you are free to move and alter the view port as much as you like, provided that you do not object to the black pillars serving as a constant reminder of how much space you are squandering.
On the base of the Flex stand, there is a USB hub that lets your devices connect to a PC or TV. In addition to a unique Switch Hub button on the bottom that allows you to switch between operating modes, LG includes a USB-to-USB Type-A connection in the package.

The fantastic Game Optimiser interface from LG is now available and functions exactly like it does on other LG TVs. Its inclusion of screen elements is a useful feature for several game genres. However, keep in mind that this could not be the monitor for you if you play Valorant at 300 frames per second. But on this big screen, Destiny 2 Crucible was incredibly beautiful and buttery smooth to play. Solo games such as Assassins Creed Mirage in stunning 4K HDR and Dead Space Remake serve as the ideal demonstration of the capabilities of the Flex.

Thus, the LG OLED Flex is unquestionably among the top 42-inch gaming monitors and my favorite BFG display experience to date. At 42 inches, it is undoubtedly large for a desk, but even so, it is significantly more useful than the 55-inch Samsung Odyssey Ark. Furthermore, the advantages of both flat and curved monitors are provided by the freedom to alter form factor and aspect ratios.
However, there is still a major issue, and that is cost. You don’t get much more for $2,499 than what the 42-inch OLED Evo C3 costs. While I understand that bending an OLED is not inexpensive, I’m not sure if the additional $1500 is worth it. I adore the OLED Flex so much and would be sad to part with it.
